My name is Randy and I’ve been making the SurfShelf since 2008. We were the first exercise machine desk on the market and have sold tens of thousands of units to happy customers worldwide.

The SurfShelf is a portable desk that fits most TREADMILLS, EXERCISE BIKES, AND ELLIPTICAL TRAINERS. Its patented design fits all three types of exercise machines with a single product.

Compatibility: The SurfShelf requires that the exercise machine include a control console to rest on. The SurfShelf also does not work well with really small rounded consoles.

Patented portable desk fits all three types of exercise machines (most Treadmills, Bikes, and Elliptical Trainers) with a single product.
Specifications: The SurfShelf is made of 100% Polycarbonate (same stuff used to make bullet proof glass) and has been tested to hold over 60 lbs. Tray size: 14in wide x 12in deep. Supports your laptop, tablet, iPad, MacBook, notebook, phone, etc. and even books and magazines. A Velcro safety strap holds your laptop secure on the tray so it can never fall.
Compatibility: 1) Requires that the exercise machine includes a control console to rest on, and 2) does not work well with really small rounded consoles. Easy to install and use. Set it up once (5 minutes) and after that it’s an easy 1-minute on and off installation. The angle of the Tray is fully adjustable . Instructional pamphlet comes inside the box with links to instructional videos on our website.
