Can my family members receive the alarm notifications from the infrared detector?

Yes. The receiver has a share-function. After successfully connecting the receiver on the tuya app, tap the button in the upper right corner, find Share Device and then you can share the device with your family members via SMS, etc.

Can I change the alarm ringtones of the receiver on my phone?

Yes. You can change and choose the ringtones on your phone. You can also set the alarm duration and alarm volume on your phone.

Dose the system has to be set to Wifi?

Yes. The receiver must always be in the 2.4Ghz Wifi environment.
